Surf I adore

Let's get real. Surfing is not like other sports

I practice surfing for over 30 years. It is a passion that compels me to stay in shape and keeps me in touch with nature. Although I live in the middle of Europe, Switzerland, where there is no sea, I do not hesitate to move me around the world several times a year. These trips allow me to experience new waves, as if summer never ended up.

In the last few years I moved my interest, within Europe, in Ireland.Despite the fact that the beaches of the Spanish Basque country are fascinating, as Mundaka and other popular spots, Ireland has a wildness atmosphere that I cannot find around. I appreciate the violence of the waves, bigs and unexpected. A surf that remember to us in each wave, how vulnerable we are.

In South America, I prefer the waves of Peru.La Isla de Punta Hermosa, La Herradura and Punta Rocas are my favorites on the beaches not far from Lima. Otherwise, northward there is many choices, Cabo Blanco, Organos, etc, etc, … and the legendary Chicama.

I appreciate especially the waves of Costa Rica, Pacific side. Good waves, it looks light but it is powerful, beautiful shape, amazing beaches.
